Summary - Shared with permission from Sasha's Retrobytes. Sasha writes, "Session six of our mostly-blind Ocarina of Time N64 playthrough opens with a Lon-Lon sunset, and all our songs so far written out in a cute LoZ themed notebook that Kit picked up a while back." Unlike the more pragmatic entries in the museum, these inputs for performing various ocarina songs in the game are adorned with musical notes that give their production a playful quality. Yet these flourishes also demonstrate how various input sequences preserve more than just progress and are linked to the aesthetic properties and performances of video games. Specifically, these inputs are read as song rather than mere button combinations. The use of notebook paper bearing the Hylian crest further embeds these notes within the diegetic elements of The Legend of Zelda.
