Summary - A 3x5 card from a pack I was using to study for a language exam. These notes are of various input strings necessary for solving specific puzzles in Fez. I've held onto these notes because of the memories associated with playing the game as well as the events in my life happening at that time. In some ways, this card is a memento or possibly a miniature of that time, and it makes me think that there might be potential for reading these objects through Susan Stewart's "On Longing: Narratives of the Miniature, the Gigantic, the Souvenir, the Collection." While many of my memories around this time are pretty rough and not worth indulging here, finding this note card prompted me to re-connect with a friend from that time who was also playing Fez and mend a friendship I assumed was lost. What meanings might the objects in the museum evoke for their original owners, and what connections might they rekindle? Something to think on.
