Summary - Perhaps one of my favorite items in the museum, a Mega Man X3 manual with several passwords written throughout the manual. Passwords are typically presented without commentary, so a player's feelings about the game states their passwords preserve are often difficult to decipher. These passwords, however, include labels as well as one titled "very sucky" and another labeled "best" that provide an opportunity to re-visit this player's preferences and feelings towards the variations of the game they produced while playing. Some passwords are also labeled "dude," and I have not yet had a chance to use these passwords to see if dude refers to the player's life count or the Mavericks (the X series' name for bosses) remaining/defeated. There is also the question of why the player chose to write passwords over the writing in the manual on page 7 when there was space in the back of the manual, which will likely remain a mystery.
